About our beers
Stella Artois has been called the most sophisticated beer brand in the world. The brand’s rich heritage dates back to 1366 and the Den Hoorn Brewery in Leuven, Belgium. The brand’s nearly 650-year heritage of tasteful sophistication is reflected in its iconic chalice and exacting 9-step pouring ritual. Stella Artois is still brewed using natural ingredients in the same processes of mixing and fermentation used in the old days. This guarantees that the beer is something we’ve been proud of and will always be proud of.
True to its original recipe, Beck’s has been brewed in the same way using four key natural ingredients for more than 125 years. The hops used to brew Beck’s today, still come from the Hallertau region in Germany, and every bottle of Beck’s is brewed according to the uncompromising German Reinheitsgebot (Purity law). With a strong and committed heritage, Beck’s has had only 6 brew masters throughout a 125 year history. Today, Beck’s is the world’s No. 1 German beer present in more than 80 countries in the world.
The Leffe family of beers are rich and full bodied. Made from only the highest quality ingredients, they provide a recipe for rich moments in life that deserve to be savored. Leffe’s unique brewing heritage is now shared and enjoyed by consumers in more than 70 countries worldwide. The brand is available in four varieties: Blond, Brown, Tripel, and Radieuse/Vieille Cuvée.
Hoegaarden was first brewed in 1445. It is different from virtually any other beer or beverage experience – different in the kind of beverage that it is, and in the naturally refreshing taste experience. Hoegaarden is the authentic Belgian wheat or white beer. It has a unique and extremely complex brewing process whereby the brand is first top fermented and then is refermented within the bottle – ending up in a unique cloudy-white appearance.
Boddingtons is a refreshing, smooth & sessionable beer. It is renowned for its golden color, full-bodied flavour and malty, morish taste with smooth, tight creamy head. Brewed in Manchester since 1778, Boddingtons has an ABV content of 3.8% and 4.1% in cask.
The Spaten-Franziskaner-Bräu GmbH is a brewery in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. In 1397, the Welser Prew was alluded to for the first time in Munich. The ownership changed often until 1854, when the brewery moved to the location it still uses today. In 1867 it became the largest brewery in town and in 1909 began to deliver beer to North America. In 1924 the advertising slogan “Lass Dir raten, trinke Spaten” (literally “Let yourself be advised, drink Spaten”) was invented. It is still in use today. The brewery reached the production of 1 million hectoliters in 1992.
The Japan Brewery first began marketing Kirin Beer in 1888. The Kirin Brewery Company was established as a separate legal entity in February 1907, purchasing the assets of the Japan Brewery and expanding the business in an era of growing consumer demand. Kirin Brewery built on the traditions of the Japan Brewery retaining the use of malted grains and hops imported from Germany and employing German brewers to oversee production. An exclusive partnership with Meidi-ya proved highly successful in the marketing of Kirin’s beers both in Japan and overseas.
